XANTREX Circuit
Breakers and Fuse blocks
The
DC250 and DC175 Circuit Breaker
Meet
code with Trace/Xantrex's new DC disconnect/over current module.
Now it's easier to meet National Electric Code requirements with a
Trace/Xantrex
DC175 or 250. These modules are designed to link with Trace/Xantrex SW and DR series
inverter systems.
Battery disconnect: An easy way to isolate inverter and battery
-
Meets National Electrical Code requirement for "means of disconnection."
-
No exposed "hot" terminals
-
Doesn't need ring terminal lugs
Over current protection: DC circuit breakers UL listed for up to 125VDC
-
Extremely low voltage drop (less than most fuses or current shunts)
-
Rated for interrupting high fault current (up to 25,00 amps at 65 VDC)
-
Easy to reset
-
No exposed "hot" terminals
Room for expansion
-
Optional second main breaker accommodates dual inverter systems
-
Second breaker can be field installed
-
Space allows for DC current shunts
Optional bonding block simplifies wiring and grounding
-
Bonds negative conductor to grounding system at single point
-
Lugs to terminate four 4/0, two #1/0, two #2 and four #4 cables
Four Auxiliary breaker positions
-
Optional 15-amp DC breaker for small DC loads or equipment room light
-
Optional 60-amp DC-rated breaker for PV array disconnect, charge controller,
etc.
-
UL listed for DC systems up to 125 VDC
-
Rated for interrupting high fault current, up to 25,000 amps at 65 VDC
-
Easily accessible #10-32 stud terminals

FUSE BLOCKS
Class
T Fuse block with Fuse
The fuse block is placed between your battery and your inverter positive
cable to provide over-current protection for your inverter. They are not
as efficient as the above Trace/Xantrex DC175/250 circuit breaker, but they do
work and they will protect your inverter. Provides the maximum interrupting
capacity (AIC) required by the National Electrical Code. Designed for easy
installation in new or existing systems. Simply cut cables and install
or order the post-type terminal to accept cables with ring terminals. Fuse
included. Replacement fuses are available.
The size of your inverter will dictate the fuse size you order. We
can assist you with this determination.
Trace/Xantrex Fuse Block has a DC rated class T fuse in a protective holder
with slide-off cover.
Available in 400, 300, 200, and 110 amps.
